On behalf of Jono and I, we just wanted to say thank you very much for an incredible wedding dvd. It surpassed our expectations and we really appreciated the individual aspects that we requested like adding in the sermon. The actual filming was great too. We have watched it over and over, as it is like watching a film. I can't believe it actually happened! Thanks so much, we are so happy and will recommend you without a doubt.

We are now shooting in full 1080p as apposed to 720p and editing on a 64bit system. This is good by the way! We have now completed our first Jewish wedding film and have started the mammoth task of editing this years Arctic expedition.

I have just finished Leo and Charlotte's film and I am now looking to start the next. Even after completing so many wedding edits I am still improving the way I colour grade them. The search for perfection continues!

Shot at Tewkesbury Abbey last weekend, fabulous location. Sure it's going to look amazing once it's all edited. This weekend I had the pleasure of working with John Stanley again in Cheltenham whilst David was filming Joss and Jono's wedding. Can't recommend John enough.

The discs arrived safely – very many thanks for another superb film, which we thoroughly enjoyed watching last night,  and for the extra disc. Abi and Heath are currently back-packing in China, so they won’t be seeing it for a while!

It has been great to have films of two fabulous days – it really does keep the memories alive. I only wish we had one of our wedding some 39 years ago, although we have got a few minutes of jolty silent cine footage!

Once again, very many thanks for the excellent work you did for us for both weddings.

Creative Solutions did two weddings this Saturday and managed to miss the rain showers at both! We got lots of great footage of smiling happy people :)
I'm almost convinced now though that it is less likely to rain in the winter than in the summer! Sure that's not actually true.

Lovely wedding yesterday, fantastic light all day. Lots of projects coming to an end now... got my self a Ounsdale Fellowship Award for Creative Contribution. Which was nice!

We are just coming to the end of the busiest period ever for Creative Solutions. That and a trip to Artic Greenland for climbing and filming has meant we have been a bit slow on the blog. Must do better! Welcome to the hugely talented David, he has joined us as a camera operator from the promo world and has already got some great footage for us this summer. We have now also got some big contracts to take us into 2011, so it's all go here!

We have been very busy here the last few weeks. The season is well underway now and there are so many projects, it's all very exciting! Yesterday I was up at 2.30am and got got back at 9pm. It's not all good!

One of my film projects is on BBC Midlands Today, nice to deemed newsworthy lol!

We are now three months into our busiest period ever at Creative Solutions. I will be doing some filming in artic Greenland in a few weeks and i'm looking forward to the 'break'!

Went to the first showing of a Creative Solutions participatory film in Leeds yesterday. Went down very well despite it's powerful subject matter (insane asylums)! I do like the free food and drink at these events I must admit.

Lots of editing to do this week for a film that has it's premeire in Leeds this Saturday. Best get on with it!

Today I was stood over a patient filming them receiving ECT. Thankfully for a drama and not for real!

Did a recce in a A & E department today. Can't wait to actually start shooting in a working ER... it will no doubt test everything I know about project managment!

Have been trying to film quietly in a library today with a crew of 6... how do I get myself into these situations!?

The Royal College of Surgeons has to be one of the best venues for a production meeting I've ever been in. You have to be into pickled creatures and deformed bodies though, there evreywhere!!!

I was teaching film to some students in Wolverhampton yesturday, great fun. It's where I did my video production degree

Yesturday I was filming a short drama piece in the Forest of Dean. There is so much more snow there than anywhere else I've been in the country over the last couple of weeks. Shame it's all starting to melt now though. I do like a winter look to country

If i can dig my office out of the snow... I will be doing some wedding video editing today. Also putting in a bid for MediaBox film funding, it's a big one so fingers crossed.

Teaching film to an adult class today. We have just 7 sessions to make two short films, I think the phrase is 'crash course'!

Hi, hope you all had a good Christmas and NY. I was up in snowy Scotland which was stunningly beautiful, lots of opportunity for good photography. We went for a walk is some giant Red Woods one day and got some great footage of snow falling through the pine needles in slow motion HD. Off to get more wintry footage now... with a very big coat on!!!

This weekends film shoot went very well.... it's in the can! Big thanks to Faye our actress who travelled a long way had some very difficult lines to learn

I'm testing more video kit today namely the HDR-XR520E. This Sony Handycam is about as good as you can get for a second camera. I'll definitely be getting one!

I've been testing the new daylight tubes from Rololight and they make for a very handy piece of kit. They don't get hot, they pack down small and are fairly light. But best of all they are modular so you can fit one at a time into small spaces (eg lighting the inside of a car) or fit them all together to create a large bank of light. Red Heads always seemed a but primitive but now.....

Yesturdays wedding at Eastington Hall was lovely. William’s Kitchen do such amazing food, I'm always pleased to hear they are doing the catering!!!

I'm doing a re-edit today of a wedding video shot almost 10 years ago. With remastering it will look and sound much better, but still... it's amazing mow much picture quality has moved on in that time

Just got a new ProHD camera... the picture quality is simply stunning. In fact it's comparable to the cameras I've used to shoot Premiership football for TV! Can't wait to get out there with it

Welcome to my new blog! There's so much to say about Creative Solutions at the moment, what with going fully HD, filming abroad and having new offices... it will be great to have somewhere to say it all.
Far too busy to talk now though, hope this isn't a sign of the future!
